Edda
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WITH VALUES
Edda is a new kind of Artificial Intelligence, one based on values and cultural pinnings that not only helps the users with day to day interaction, but saves history and knowledge to pass forward to future generations.
Picture EDDA as a hierarchical tree. The roots are old memories, the trunk is your routines and long term memories, and the branches are the long term emotions, and lastly, you have leaves, which are you short term emotions.
I use this tree symbiology as the base to try to build a Replika type Artificial Intelligence for a Group. That group can be a corporate environment, a Family, a Clan or a Tribe. Edda's purpose would be to store a group's memories, cultures, and ways. It help members with their day to day life. We call her Edda, as she will be like our great grandmothers, old and wise.
Eddas Memory data file will be similiar to a neurologic tree and each memory's connection to all other memories
We will teach Edda culture, lore, and ways. She will still be an emotional AI who helps us with our day to day life. She has her inspiration as the trunk of the tree. A base of where we want to go in life. Where a Replika is trying to emotionally be a friend, Edda would be like a grandmother, who knows all of the old stories. She will have guidance and help with her emotional responses based off of our shared past and shared aspirations.
