Python for the kids
We always have time at Hays Division to teach and work with our Youth. With all the cutting edge technology in our innovation labs Kids really just want to put there hands on things and experience the life of technology.
Gavin Hays using a speech to text program to change music on a google assistant. He was using the program for a Holiday project and realized he could also interact with the Google Assistant. At Hays Division we really enjoy watch the spark of technology creation when kids learn new experiences.
Nine Year Old Gavin Hays Programming with Python using Text to Speech
Gavin Hays is a regular in the Hays Innovation Labs because of his father Clyde. Seeing all of the technological innovations at the lab kids will just become inspired. Gavin realized he could create teddy bears that talked after he watch the Hays Division programmers working on speech to text files. Ordering a speaker board off of amazon and a few bears, Gavin was able to program in python what he wanted the bears to say when hugged.
